AA316NY – electronic assessment rolL Interface

This interface is intended to satisfy requests for electronic assessment roll information under the Freedom of Information Law (FOIL).

This interface produces a file that lists the parcel identifier, property address, parcel size in acres and square feet, name and address of primary owner, roll section code, SWIS (town and village) code, school district code, real property class code, property use code, school district tax

rate code, town and county tax rate code, value of land exclusive of buildings, value of land and buildings, up to ten special district codes, up to ten exemption codes and amounts, up to three village codes and percentages, and up to five town and county consolidated tax rate codes and percentages for each assessment record for a tax year for a SWIS code pattern and/or a tax authority code pattern.

 

 

NOTE:  The specific fields with permissible entries to be filled in or left blank are listed below. Ignore fields that are not in the list next to the screens.

 1.    Job: Report name should always appear here. For example, AA316NY.

 2.    Server Name: Keep the server name that first appears.

 3.    Printer_Name: Keep the printer name that appears, or leave it blank.

 4.    Jurisdiction: Enter your jurisdiction.

 5.    Tax Year: Enter the current Tax Year.

 6.    Spool File Name: Keep the spool file name that appears, i.e., AA316NY.PDF.

13. FCU: Formatting code. Keep the destination format, i.e., formatting code, that appears, i.e., PDF.

 17. PARAM1 SWIS Code (pattern): Enter a State Wide Information System (SWIS) code to restrict the output file to a single village or town outside villages. Enter a pattern with “%” representing any number of any characters and “?” representing any one character to restrict the output file to the villages or towns outside villages whose codes match the pattern. When entered, the SWIS code pattern parameter restricts the output file to a single SWIS code or to a group with the same pattern in ASMT.FLAG14 or LEGDAT.USER1 or LEGDAT.USER3 or LEGDAT.USER5. For example, the pattern ‘2820%’ currently would restrict the file to the town of Hempstead in New York state.

You must enter a SWIS Code (pattern) and/or a Tax Authority Code (pattern).

 18. PARAM2 Tax Authority Code (pattern): Enter a tax authority code to restrict the output file to a single tax authority. Enter a pattern with “%” representing any number of any characters and “?” representing any one character to restrict the output file to the tax authorities whose codes match the pattern. For example, the pattern ‘S1%’ currently would restrict the file to school districts in Hempstead in Nassau County.

 19. PARAM3 OUTPUT FILE PATH: Enter full the output path. For example, C:\CLT\VA316NY.LST
