aa408mogre – Assessor's office data loading to owndat & sales

The Recorder’s Interface, AA408MOGRE, is a data conversion program designed to take data from a flat file and import it into the IAS database for sales reporting. This program does the following:

1.    Gets the required data from the tape file (id1).

2.    Loads the data into a temp table using sqlloader.

3.    Inserts the data into the OWNDAT and SALE tables.

4.    Prints an audit trail and exceptions, such as records that were updated or records that were not updateable by the system. An example of the latter is a record that already exists for a parcel with the same sale date.

If no path is specified, then the report will look in the Start In directory.

As with all 400-level reports in IAS, running this report will update the database. The following changes will occur by running this report:

·     The OWNDAT record for the parcel will be updated.

·     A new sales record will be inserted in the SALES table.

Output generated by this program is the exception report noted above.
