AA550NS – Year End Processing

The year end processing interface will consist of 3 major components: Assessment Notices, Consolidated Owners Notice, and Municipal/Laser/Mini Assessment Roll. The Assessment Notices include the regular notice, amended notice, and the confirmation notice. This part of the report will be run weekly and also at year end. The consolidated Owners Notice and the Municipal/Laser/Mini Rolls will only be generated during year end.

NOTE:  The specific fields with permissible entries to be filled in or left blank are listed below. Ignore fields that are not in the list next to the screens.

 1.     Job: Report name should always appear here. For example, AA550NS.

 2.     Server Name: Keep the server name that first appears.

 3.     Printer_Name: Select a valid printer or keep the displayed printer if one is present.

 4.     Jurisdiction: Enter your jurisdiction. The jurisdiction will be ignored if the region/province field (ALT1) or if ID1 and ID2 are populated.

 5.     Tax Year: Enter the current Tax Year.

 6.     Spool File Name: Enter AA550NS.PDF to create the file in text format.

 7.     Beginning Date (OPTIONAL): Enter the starting date. Note: The beginning and ending dates is the date range from the Asmt tab that will notices will be produced. Format: DD-MON-RRRR

 8.     Ending Date (OPTIONAL): Enter the ending date. Format: DD-MON-RRRR

 9.     ID1 (OPTIONAL): Enter the beginning Parcel ID to include in the report or zero to include all parcels. Enter IDLIST to run the report on a specific list of parcels.

 10. ID2 (OPTIONAL): If ID1 = beginning Parcel ID, enter the ending Parcel ID associated with the parcels to include in the report. If ID1 = zero, enter ZZ for all parcels. If ID1 = IDLIST, enter the SETNAME of the IDLIST.

 11.   ALT1 ID1 REGION CODE (P,N,S,E,W,C):

P = Province

N = North

S = South

E = East

W = West

C = Center

(If printing for multiple codes, use a comma to separate.) When a region is entered, the jurisdiction will be ignored and the report will print all jurisdictions in the region.

 13. FCU: Formatting code. Keep the default printer setting that is present when the screen appears. If blank, enter PDF.

 17. PARAMETER 1: ANOTC, CNOTC, or MROLL. (Type of Report) If this field is ANOTC this will produce the Assessment Notices.  If this field is CNOTC this will produce the Consolidated Assessment Notices.  If this field is MROLL then the Municipal Roll Reports are produced.

 18.  PARAMETER 2: F, R, or B. (Type of Notice) If this field is F then ONLY an extract file will be generated.  If this field is R then ONLY a report (PDF) is produced.  If this field is B then an extract file and report (PDF) will be produced.

 19.  PARAMETER 3:  RPPT, CONF, AMND, ALL, or NONE.  (Report Code) If this field is RPPT then the regular Assessment Notice report will be produced.   If this field is AMND then the Amended Assessment Notice report will be produced.   If this field is CONF then the Confirmation Notice report will be produced.   If this field is ALL will print all of the 3 Notices, and this is the default.  If this field is NONE then there will not be any Notices produced. This report code is only utilized if the report code is ANOTC (param1)

 20. PARAMETER 4: Enter Date (Notice Date).  This will be the date that will print on the Notices.  The default is the system date.  Format MM/DD/YYYY.

 21.  PARAMETER 5: Y or N. (Postal File) If this field is Y then the Postal File layout will be generated for each Region, and this is the default.  If this field is N then the Postal File will not be generated.

 22. PARAMETER 6: 400, 401, XML ALL or NONE. (Muni Roll Type) If this field is 400 then only the 400 layout will be produced.  If this field is 401 then only the 401 layout will be produced.  If this field is XML then only the XML layout will be produced.  If this field is ALL will print all of the 3 Muni Layouts, and this is the default.  If this field is NONE then there will not be any Muni Layouts produced.

 23. PARAMETER 7: 1, 2 ALL or NONE (Muni Rpt Layout) If this field is 1then only the Municipal Laser Roll report will be produced.  If this field is 2 then only the Mini Laser Roll report will be produced.  If this field is ALL then both reports will be produced, and this is the default.  If this field is NONE then there will not be reports produced.

 24.  PARAMETER 8: Y or N. (recreate temp table) If this field is Y then the data in the “BIG” temp table is deleted when the report is run, and this is the default.  If this field is N then the data in the “BIG” temp table is NOT deleted.

 24.  PARAMETER 9: Y or N. (Exclude data in laser roll)  If this field is Y then the mailing address will be excluded from the Municipal Laser Roll report.  If this field is N then the mailing address will print on the Municipal Laser Roll report.  

 25.  PARAMETER 10: D, W, N, P,  or A. (sort order) If this field is D then the Municipal Reports (param7) and Layouts (param6) will be sorted by district (legdat.taxdist).  If this field is W then the Municipal Reports (param7) and Layouts (param6) will be sorted by ward (legdat.taxdist2).  If this field is N then the Municipal Reports (param7) and Layouts (param6) will be sorted by owner name (owndat.own1).  If this field is P then the Municipal Reports (param7) and Layouts (param6) will be sorted by property field card number (altidindx.altid where idname=FC).  If this field is A then the Municipal Reports (param7) and Layouts (param6) will be sorted by AAN (asmt.parid). 

              NOTE: If you want to run multiple then enter each separated by commas (no spaces)
