DP300OH – TAX DUPLICATE

 

The virtual memory setup at the end of this run guide is for clients with  more than 25,000 parcels.

 

NOTE:  The specific fields with permissible entries to be filled in or left blank are listed below. Ignore fields that are not in the list next to the screens.

 1.    Job: Report name should always appear here. For example, DP300OH.

 2.    Server Name: Keep the server name that first appears.

 3.    Printer_Name: Select a valid printer or keep the displayed printer if one is present.

 4.    Jurisdiction: Enter your jurisdiction.

 5.    Tax Year: Enter the current Tax Year.

 6.    Spool File Name: Enter DP300OH.dat to create the file in text format.

 7.    Beginning Date: Enter the ending business date.

 9.    ID1: Enter the minimum Parcel ID to include in the report or zero to include all parcels. Enter IDLIST to run the report on a specific list of parcels.

 10. ID2: If ID1 = minimum Parcel ID, enter the maximum Parcel ID associated with the parcels to include in the report. If ID1 = zero, enter ZZ for all parcels. If ID1 = IDLIST, enter the SETNAME of the IDLIST.

 11. ALT1: Enter the starting district code.

 12. ALT2: Enter the ending district code.

 13. FCU: Formatting code. Enter “PDF” to print in PDF format. Otherwise keep your default printer. If “DUPLICATE” is entered, report prints on one side. If “DUPLICATED” is entered, report prints on both sides.

 14. WHERE_STMT (Y/N): Enter Y to get the values from ASMT_ALL where procname = 'TAX CALC' else get the values from ASMT where cur ='Y'

 15. WHO (Y/N): Enter Y to get the owner info from OWNDATMAX or N to get OWNDATL for the TEDUPLYR.Duplyr. Default is 'Y' from OWNDATMAX.

 17. PARAM1 ROLL TYPE: Enter the valid roll types. MH% can be used if the county would like a combined MH duplicate.

 18. PARAM2 TREA/AUDITOR (T/A): Enter T or A (Treasurer’s or Auditor’s flag.)

 19. PARAM3 TOT/DET/ALL/DATA (T/D/A/DATA):

Enter the report type. T prints totals by business date. D prints details only by parcel. A prints totals by both business date and detail. DATA creates the data to a flat file.

 20. PARAM4 DROP OLD TEMP TABLES (Y/N): Enter Y to drop old temp tables. Default is N.

 21. PARAM5 SORT BY (O/M/P): O sorts by owner name, M sorts by mailing name, P sorts by parcel ID.

Press [Submit Job]. The system will notify you when the report is finished.

VIRTUAL MEMORY SETUP FOR CLIENT PCs

 

The client PC must set up with virtual memory for Initial size 3000MB and Maximum size 4000MB. The following setup is for clients with more than 25,000 parcels.

 

1.         Right click on My Computer icon and go to Properties:

 

 

2.         Click on Advanced and then Performance Options:

 

 

 

3.         Click on Change:

 

 

4.         Change to 3000 & 4000 as shown.

 

 

5.         Click on Set.

 

6.         Click on all the OKs until every pop-up screen closes. Some PC may ask to re-start the PC. Do so after closing all open windows. After the restart, please check the Virtual Memory settings again to make sure the 3000 and 4000 entries are still there. If they aren’t, try again. If they still do not register after a third try, contact your system administrator.
