DR591FL – Error report for Real Property 12D8 File

 

This program generates an error report for the Real Property 12D8 file that replicates checks made by the Department of Revenue AVR03 analysis.

 

NOTE:  The specific fields with permissible entries to be filled in or left blank are listed below. Ignore fields that are not in the list next to the screens.

 1.    Job: Report name should always appear here. For example, DR591FL.

 2.    Server Name: Keep the server name that first appears.

 3.    Printer_Name: Select a valid printer or keep the displayed printer if one is present.

 4.    Jurisdiction: Enter your jurisdiction.

 5.    Tax Year: Enter the current Tax Year.

 6.    Spool File Name: Enter DR591FL.LIS to create the file in text format.

The following analyses are run against the data in the 12d8 file and will list the parcels representative of Department of Revenue AVR03 errors.

 

1.      Use code indicates an improved parcel but just value equals land value.

2.      Use code indicates a vacant parcel but just value is greater than land value.

3.      Use code indicates agricultural parcel but just value equals assessed value.

4.      Use code indicates parcel is non-agricultural, non-homestead parcel but just value is greater than assessed value.

5.      Use code indicates agricultural parcel but land value is greater than assessed value.

6.      New construction value is greater than zero but just value equals land value.

7.      Parcel is coded homestead property but no homestead exemption value is indicated.

8.      Parcel is coded to have widow (ers) exemption but no widow (ers) exemption value is indicated.

9.      Parcel is coded to have $500 disability exemption but no disability exemption value is indicated.

10. Use code indicates an institutional or government parcel but personal exemptions are indicated.

11. Use code indicates a vacant parcel but living area is greater than zero.

12. Use code indicates a vacant parcel but construction class is indicated.

13. Homestead exemption amount is greater than zero and assessed value is equal to land value.

14. Homestead exemption amount is greater than zero and land value is equal to zero.

15. Current year sale of an improved parcel with a ‘V’ code.

16. Current year sale of a vacant parcel with an ‘I’ code.

17. Current year sale on parcel without either a ‘V’ or an ‘I’ code.

18. Taxable value is greater than assessed value.

19. Just value is less than assessed value.
