PP410MOJEF – Individual Personal Property Declarations – Individual, Business and Leased

The County runs individual personal property declaration forms in January.  The forms are sent to the taxpayer listing personal property assets assessed in the previous year.  The forms include a barcode that contains the taxpayer PARID information and is scanned when the declaration is received back from the taxpayer. 

 

The output of this report can be sorted by Zip Code, Account number, or Owner Name using the sort parameter (PARAM3).  There are also parameters that limit the output. Param 4 controls whether or not to produce declaration forms for accounts with status codes of “M” (Mailed).  When the user enters ‘Y’ for Param4, the report is produced for parids with Status code of M.  Entering ‘N’ for Param 4 will not produce a report for parids with status code=’M’.  Param 5 determines whether to produce just the PDF declarations, just the extract report, or both.  This defaults to R for report PDF only.  When producing an extract file, the output prints in the positions and lengths defined in the extract file layout below.

 

The setup information that this report reads for the header and header details can be maintained on the TR01 screen in IAS4.  It should be setup as shown below.

The County runs business personal property declaration forms in January.  The forms are sent to the taxpayer listing business tangible personal property assets assessed the previous year.  The businesses are classified into business codes and business types.  The forms include a barcode that contains the taxpayer PARID information and is scanned when the declaration is received back from the taxpayer. 

 

The output of this report can be sorted by Zip Code, Account number, or Owner Name using the sort parameter (PARAM3).  There are also parameters that limit the output. TAX YEAR: Enter the current Tax Year.

SPOOL FILE NAME: Enter PP410MOJEF.LIS to create the file in text format. Enter PP410MOJEF.PDF to create the file in text format.

Begin Parcel ID or ‘IDLIST’: Default is 0.

End Parcel ID or Set Name: If id1 = IDLIST. Default is ZZZZ.

FCU: Formatting code. Print format to be used for report output. This should be PDF.

Report Type (1, 2, 3):

1 – Individual

2 – Business

3 – Leased Equipment

Flat File Spool Dir: Folder for Flat files (default is to the spool folder).

Sort Option (O. Z, A): Sort Option for PDF and Extract File output:

Z – Zip Code

O – Owner Name

A – Account Number/Parid

Print M Status (Y/N):

Y - Option to Include Status M Accounts in batch

N – Option to not include Status M accounts

File Type (R, F, B):

R – Produce only PDF report

F – Produce only extract file

B – Produce both extract and PDF report
