The County runs individual personal
property declaration forms in January.
The forms are sent to the taxpayer listing personal property assets
assessed in the previous year. The forms
include a barcode that contains the taxpayer PARID information and is scanned
when the declaration is received back from the taxpayer.
The output of this report can be
sorted by Zip Code, Account number, or Owner Name using the sort parameter
(PARAM3). There are also parameters that
limit the output. Param 4 controls whether or not to produce declaration forms
for accounts with status codes of M (Mailed).
When the user enters Y for Param4, the report is produced for parids
with Status code of M. Entering N for
Param 4 will not produce a report for parids with status code=M. Param 5 determines whether to produce just
the PDF declarations, just the extract report, or both. This defaults to R for report PDF only. When producing an extract file, the output
prints in the positions and lengths defined in the extract file layout below.
The setup information that this
report reads for the header and header details can be maintained on the TR01
screen in IAS4. It should be setup as
shown below.
