· Spec Flag: When a parcel undergoes special processing, for example, when it is scheduled for a hearing, all screens that can change its values can be simultaneously locked by a Supervisor. Once locked, these screens cannot be changed by anyone who is not a Supervisor.
When
the Spec Flag button is active on this screen, (can be clicked), it functions
as a Stop sign, notifying you that only a supervisor can update the screen
because the parcel is undergoing special processing.
·
Clicking
the button displays the type of processing the parcel is undergoing.
·
If you are
not a supervisor, changing a field displays the message: “You do not have
permission to update data on this screen”; IAS will not save any changes.
When
the Spec Flag button is inactive, (cannot be clicked), any user with permission
can update this screen.
This
screen is locked and unlocked from CA11 or PP11 by a Supervisor.
The special
processing flag will roll into the next year along with other data for the
parcel.
